 Joseph Pilates devised his system to help men and women recover from injuries.  At first he treated many dancers and celebrities but as his reputation grew he also had many New York City office workers with lower back pain, tight shoulders, headaches, hip problems and anything else associated with the stress of long hours at a desk.  

Fast foward to 2022 and many people are experiencing the same discomfort of those NYC office workers.  Perhaps your stomach muscles aren’t as engaged as you would like, maybe you experience lower back pain from sitting which then makes walking long distances painful and thus makes you sit more. Perhaps your shoulders and neck are tight.  Perhaps none of these things apply to you but you would just like to get stronger.
